Adventure

William Feather once said that:

One way to get the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure

Some people might think that having and adventure is very costly and time consuming. Actually it does not have to be that way. In some sense, yes it might be true, because you can’t see the breathtaking view of Victoria Falls or Geiranger Fjord with your own eye unless you go there.

What I’m trying to say, is that actually you can have a little adventure everyday just by changing your perspective. For example, instead of taking the same route to work, you can take another route that maybe slightly longer. Instead of walking by the same road every day try to pass by a small alley that you never try before. Don’t afraid that you might be lost, instead try to be lost, that is when the adventure begins.

If you usually went to work by your own car, why not try to go by public transport tomorrow, do some research and go out early so that you have an extra time if you’re lost, and you can be at work on time.

When was the last time you talk to strangers?

Do you know that all your friend that you are having right now were once just a stranger to you?

But after some time you start talking to them, changing insight and jokes, spent some time together, they were not stranger anymore, you add them to your friend list. You should not stop this process. Everyday when you met someone at the cafe, bus stop, library or post office try to smile and say hi. You’ll be surprise to find what you’re missing all this time, the friend that you could have, the opportunity. I bet you do.

What about weekend?

Instead of wasting your time at the same boring shopping mall every weekend, you should try something new. Go camping or hit the road with your love one without knowing where to go, and figured it out along the way. It should be fun.

If my words still not convincing to you. Why don’t you spend 5 minutes browsing all these awesome photos from Bored Panda. Just to give you an insight on how much adventure you have missed out all this time.
