The new season of ‘Sayembara Novel Fiksyen Sains dan Teknologi Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) – Kumpulan Utusan’ will kick off soon. The biannual event will groom new talent to produced a high quality science fiction novels that can be used for school literature.
It is a proactive action to upheld the level of intellectual in the mind of the nation youth. This effort will boast the number of quality material that can spark young minds to be involved in the technology and substitute the vast n novels that only focusing on love and emotion.
The winner of this program will be given RM15,000 for the first place, RM10,000 for second place and RM5,000 for third place.
Speaking to the press, vice director of Penerbit UTM Press, Mr. Khalid Mazlan said that the competition will be done systematically which includes of a series of writing courses and also evaluation from professional evaluator.
