2014 is leaving us but we still have a few more days before we enter the new light of 2015. If you filled your 2014 with lots of external and sport activities, you might want to chill out a little bit at the end of it. So why not enjoy these last days with the movies you missed all this year round. I’ve compiled the best five movies according to me for this year, it might save your time doing the search.

5. Divergent

Starring Shailene Woodley, this fiction movie based on the worldwide bestseller should be on your watchlist before the year end. Packed with action and drama, the story of the world divided by factions based on virtues will surely stuck in your mind!

4. The Fault in Our Stars

For those who always piles their watchlist with drama and romance movies, this one is pixel perfect for you. The movie which centered on the relationship of two teens having cancer will surely touch your heart. I bet girls will end this movie with teary eyes.

3. Maleficent

Directed by Robert Stromberg and starring Angelina Jolie, this fairy movie is suitable to watch with the whole family. We often were falsely fed about what love is, this movie will put the definition of love in a better perspective.

2. Boyhood

Have you ever want to film your life? Seeing how you, yourself growing up and how much you’ve changed. If you do, do check this movie out! Mason and his family will surely made you think about your own journey. Its a nostalgic time capsule.

1. Interstellar

Okay, I have to admit I didn’t watch this yet. Recent workload doesn’t give me any time or space to watch this movie. But if you’re familiar with Christopher Nolan’s work, you wouldn’t be surprised when I put Interstellar as my first choice for 2014. Based on my friends spoiler about this movie, its breathtaking, heart-touching and worth-watching all at the same time. Better try to find a way to watch this one I guess.
