The beauty of science is that it made past dreams a reality today. What you can imagine is something you can reach. This is true for many cases, the imaginator will be called crazy or lunatic during their time, but 100 years later they will be called pioneer and innovator.
Human try to understands how the world works, they try to understand nature and its law, they study from biology to physics to get an answer, and science were never short of surprise.
I’ll give you one question, just to give you some idea. Can we unboil boiled egg? We cannot right? Wrong. Actually we can. The lead researcher Gregory Weiss said that they already invented the method to do this. They add some urea substance to untangled the protein back to its reusable form. The research was funded by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences in the US and the Australian Research Council, and published last week in the journal ChemBioChem.
This latest development shows how imagination is the first step for innovation and new technologies. We must first imagine in order to innovate and create. The unboiled egg may be seen less interesting, but the aplication of the method to treat cancer and other disease may be revolutionary.
