The severe floods that hit Malaysia have left several states in Malaysia devastated. Among the worst affected state by this year flood is the state of Pahang. As a Malaysian, we were proud to see volunteers from all over Malaysia coming in into the affected region to lend their hands.
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia also sent some of their best and helpful students and staff to this region to give donation and also help in the cleaning process in the post-flooding phase.
The 250 volunteers from UTM was surprise when the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak also joining them in the cleaning effort in SK Padang Rumbia, Pekan. This event will sure be a memorable one for the volunteers.
