The prime minister of Malaysia YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak officially launch UTM KL Razak Tower in an event held on 8th January 2015.
The Razak Tower was a part of UTM development project under the 9th Malaysian Plan (RMK9). The name of the tower was taken from the late Tun Haji Abdul Razak, the second prime minister of Malaysia.
Speaking to the press, UTM Vice Chanselor, Prof Datuk Ir Dr Wahid Omar said
“To generate human capital for the coming years, UTM will have a well developed infrastructure to accommodate its student with comfort in order to intensify its educational culture among the students”.
