Universiti Teknologi Malaysia recently have sent a delegation to Indonesia to meet with the Indonesian counterpart. This latest move is aimed to create a new form of collaboration between the two sides by proposing the formation of Malaysian-Indonesia Technology center (MALINDOTech)
The delegation was lead by UTM Vice Chancellor, Prof Wahid Omar.
The establishment of MALINDOTech is an effort to strengthen education and research collaboration between the two nation. It will also will be diversify and includes the participation from industrial conterpart from both nation.
The MoU was then signed for 5 years between UTM and Universitas Indonesia. Universitas Indonesia was represented by their rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Anis.
