To start with, everybody have problems, some bigger than others and that is normal. When you talk about life, you can never avoid to talk about problems, be it study, family or work related stuff. Everyone have them.
But when people stuck in a problem or multiple of problems and start to focus their feeling on it for a long time, it might make them overwhelmed with it. It might lead to depression and involve other physical symptoms. Worst, if it is not properly treated it might ended up with suicide.
More than one out of 10 peoples struggling with depression commits suicide.
So what are the symptoms that you can observe, so that you can tell whether a person is having a depression. This article aimed to provide you some insight to this particular problem. If a person is depressed, you might see one of these:
- Lost hope, they feel helpless, worthless, pessimist and feel that life is not worth living.
- Insomnia, their sleep schedule changes. They cannot sleep or over sleep (hypersomnia).
- Change in everyday diet. They having either appetite loss or overeating.
- Lost interest in their former hobbies and daily activities, become less social.
- Having aches and pains which are unexplainable including headaches and back pain.
- Thought of suicide or attempting to do it.
