Winston Churchill once said a famous quotes:
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
Student life often come to a peak when it comes to the end of the semester, when assignment, test, exam piled up and needed to be settled at the same month.
But as Churchill said, its that when we give, that we felt the true meaning of life. It is then, we feel that we had fulfilled the purpose of life, when we saw the smiles that we create by what we give. That feeling is epic.
When the severe flood hit eastern part of Malaysia, I get a chance to felt this feeling first hand. Together with my friend from UTM, we jumped in on a flood relief mission to Temerloh. We give our crucial-end-of-semester-hectic time to the people that severely affected by this year flood.
That 3 days mission paid off when we saw the smiles of the peoples that we helped. The cleaning operation is super tiring, we often fell asleep early at night on that 3 days because of our long day operation that left everyone exhausted.
Lets pray the best for the victim of this year flood and do everything possibly we can to help them.
